Michael 'Mick' Riego is a creative, resourceful and entrepreneurial brand builder with in-depth expertise across all facets of marketing, brand-

As Senior Vice President of Marketing for Danskin, where he was tasked with invigorating the 134 year-old brand’s image and elevating awareness of its core activewear business, he led branding, marketing and communications initiatives for the international apparel manufacturer and oversaw PR, media planning, creative services, catalogs, direct mail, licensed products, trade

shows, e-commerce, and multi-channel sales support.  He leveraged its innovative fabric technologies

Originally from St. Louis but New York City based for 17 years, Riego describes himself as having 'Mid-

western manners and New York City sensibilities.’  He earned his bachelors degree in Advertising with a minor in Textiles from the University of Missouri -- Columbia.
